American college football season
The 1971 Wisconsin Badgers football team represented the University of Wisconsin–Madison in the 1971 Big Ten Conference football season. Led by second-year head coach John Jardine, the Badgers compiled an overall record of 4–6–1 with a mark of 3–5 in conference play, placing in a three-way tie for sixth in the Big Ten. Wisconsin played home games at Camp Randall Stadium in Madison, Wisconsin.
